Vegetable-Fruit Storage Under Favorable Conditions
The cooling equipment used in cold storages works by removing the humidity of the environment. The dehumidified environment causes the stored fruits and vegetables to lose moisture, thus reducing their weight. For instance, if the weight of 1,000 tons of grapes entering the storage area experiences 0.5% moisture loss per day, it will decrease to 955 tons at the end of 10 days. Resulting financial loss caused by the decrease of humidity in cold storages can be eliminated with our ultrasonic humidification units.

In addition, the environment must reach 95% relative humidity in order to ensure optimum weather conditions in mushroom cultivation. Mushrooms, which are mostly water and do not have a wall to prevent moisture loss between the surface and the environment, cannot be grown in low humidity environments with the desired efficiencyi causing financial losses. Our ultrasonic humidification units, with their internal automation and humidity sensor, are a great helper to achieve optimum weather conditions for mushroom cultivation.

Seed storage conditions, on the other hand, are completely different from plant breeding. Ambient relative humidity should be in the range of 25-30% to prevent seeds from germinating and to increase their storage life. With our desiccant rotor dehumidifiers, relative humidity control can be achieved and seeds can be stored for a longer time.

Barn Environment
Barn animals moisten their environment through perspiration, faeces and respiratory tract. If the correct humidity control is not applied, these animals can get stressed due to high humidity and lose appetite. Therefore, problems such as weight loss and death may occur. Barn animals, which can easily adapt to low humidity, have difficulty in adapting to high humidity environments. In addition, bacteria that grow easily in high humidity environments cause these animals to become sick and perish. With our dehumidification units, high humidity can be prevented in barns and barn animals are raised with high efficiency in a healthier environment.
